Bragg Creek Education Services Association
About Us
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut'ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
BCESA was founded in 1974 and began operating as a community kindergarten and play school before expanding as a private service provider. BCESA currently provides educational support for children with needs in Bragg Creek, Cochrane, Calgary, Springbank, Banff, and Canmore.
BCESA has a great team of highly skilled educators and therapists that include: Certified Teachers, Educational Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologist, Behaviour Strategists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists. These teams work with children who have qualified for services at their school or daycare. BCESA operates on the school calendar and services are provided from September to June. All of this is fully funded by Alberta Education and is of no cost to parents or the sites.
The BCESA Board of Directors is run by volunteer parents who understand the value of Early Intervention, and are passionate about the needs of children and the services available. The role of the board is to provide accountability between the Association and Alberta Education funds. As part of our organizations financial transparency, yearly audit reports are available upon request. Monthly board meetings are also open to the public and meeting details can be found at our home base school's website (here).

TESTIMONIALS
"One of the most significant benefits of the specialized program was the personalized attention provided during one-on-one or two-on-one sessions with the therapists. This individualized approach played a crucial role in boosting our son's confidence and self-esteem, particularly in relation to his language skills and social awareness with his peers. Another benefit to our family was the better understanding of what our son needed our help with."
-Parents from the Bow Valley
"We were so impressed with everything our daughter was offered for her Speech and Language Therapy. The communication logs were so helpful and clear. Friendly, talented people! She looked forward to the days where she received support. Thank you so much!"
-Parents from Calgary
"What we found the most beneficial was the individual care and attention our son received from the teachers, therapists and the EA. It has been a wonderful program and we really appreciate everything our son has accomplished in it. The additional parent workshops have been great and above and beyond our expectations of what is included in such a program. Thank you!
-Parents from Bragg Creek
